Composer of the Week

Now for the legal stuff…

All of the information provided in the Composer of the Week newsletters and blog postings has been gathered using a variety of sources, including:

• Composer websites
• Publisher Websites
• Outside music websites (i.e., NewMusicBox.org, Grove Online, etc.)
• Books (Yes, I do use these)
• Acquired knowledge

I will do my best to provide a brief sources list to provide credibility and keep this a scholarly effort.

Where photos are used, I do my best to use only those photos I can locate the photographer for.  In one case, for Michael Colgrass, photographer Arnold Matthews graciously approved of my use of his photo of Colgrass, and has been a wonderful friend up in our neighboring Canada.  That being said, if a photo has been used in a newsletter or on the blog that is not credited, it is not for a lack of effort!  If you know of the photographer I should seek and give due credit, please feel free to let me know.  As a writer, musician, and composer, I understand the need to credit the appropriate individuals and do so willingly!

And one last thing…

As I do fully intend to credit those whose work I have utilized in compiling the information found here, I simply ask you do the same should you find a use for any of the information contained in this blog.
